Hello, I’m Kathleen Schreiber—founder of Lumen & Lens.
I’m a photographer with a deep love for capturing meaningful, human moments—whether it’s the heart of a family, the soul of a brand, or the energy of an event.
Raised between Monterey and San Jose, my life has always been steeped in creativity—music, theatre, dance, movement, and photography. I’ve long been drawn to the way light tells a story, both in front of the camera and behind it.
Alongside my work as a photographer, I’ve spent over a decade caring for children—a role I still hold close. That ongoing experience continues to shape how I see the world: with patience, empathy, and an eye for the little details that matter most.
